2026 IMPORTANT DATES to Remember for Tri-State PGA Jr. League
The 2026 PGA Jr. League season is here! We are excited for another great PGA Jr. League season in the Tri-State PGA Section. Below, we have shared some of the most important PGA Jr. League dates in the hopes of helping you to be fully prepared for a successful season. Please review those dates below.
January 5th – PGA Jr. League Player Registration Opens for 2026 Programs – Families can visit PGAJrLeague.com, find a nearby program, and register now for PGA Jr. League seasons offered year-round at facilities nationwide.
February 19th – 1:00 p.m. – PGA Jr. League Webinar – Join Kim Shafer, PGA Senior Player Engagement Consultant, and Alex Haney, the Tri-State PGA Section Director of Player Engagement, for a learning experience that will fully prepare you for the upcoming season.
March 17th – Coach Registration Deadline for the Tri-State PGA Section – All PGA Jr. League Coaches for both 13u and 17u programs should register by March 17th and notify Kim Shafer, Senior Player Engagement Consultant, if you intend to host your own in-house league or if you intend to participate in a multi-facility league. Will you have 1, 2, 3, or more teams at your facility? Please also let Kim know the number of teams that you anticipate having, as all of this information is vital when creating the leagues for the 2026 season.
March 20th – League Emails – Leagues will be finalized, and League emails with your League information will be shared on March 20th.
March 27th @ 10:00 a.m. All In-House Leagues will be invited to attend a conference call to learn everything you need to know for the 2026 season and to share best practices with other in-house leagues. Kim Shafer will share the call information in your league email on March 20th, but for now, mark your calendars to attend the call.
March 27th @ 11:00 a.m. All Multi-Facility Leagues will be invited to attend a conference call to learn everything you need to know for the 2026 season and to share best practices with other multi-facility leagues. August 4th – The Tri-State PGA Jr. League 17U Section Qualifier and Championship will be held in one day. Site is still TBD.
August 10th & 11th – Tri-State PGA Jr. League 13U League Section Qualifier and Section Championship – The Section Qualifier will be held on August 10th, with the top 4 teams advancing to compete in the Section Championship to be held on August 11th. Site is still TBD.
If you have not yet published your 2026 PGA Jr. League programs on the website, then you may follow the instructions below to do so.
If you are a returning 2025 PGA Jr. League Coach, then you have already successfully created your Coach account and set your location through PGAJrLeague.com, so you will simply need to publish your programs for 2026. You may click the link below for instructions.

If you are a lapsed or brand-new PGA Jr. League Coach who did NOT register for the 2025 season, then you will begin by signing up as a Coach through the PGAJrLeague.com website. From here, you will create a location and then publish your 2026 programs; instructions for these steps can be found below.

NEED TO KNOW FOR 2026 – PGA Jr. League
PGA Jr. League offers powerful programming that you can easily tailor to fit the needs of your players, facility, and community. That will continue in 2026, with a few important updates designed with coaches and players in mind.
⛳ 2026 PGA Jr. League program registration begins on Nov. 4 for you, and player registration will open on Jan. 5, 2026, for families.
Beat the end-of-year rush and start creating your 2026 programs as early as possible. Sharing important dates with families now can help ensure they keep PGA Jr. League in mind as they plan for 2026. You can order the 2026 team kits as early as January 6, 2026.

The 9u division is tailored for players ages 4-9, providing a fun, age-appropriate introduction to the game. Built on the principles of the American Development Model (ADM), it’s designed to keep kids engaged, learning, and loving the game—setting them up for a lifetime in sport.
👕 Fresh fits are on the way!
Updated jerseys and team kits are on the way for 2026. Expect fresh looks highlighting PGA Jr. League brand colors and everything you need to make your players feel and look like a team. Uniforms will reflect U.S. sizing standards.

REMINDER: 2025 TEAM KITS
As you close out your 2025 PGA Jr. League seasons, please remember that the last date to order 2025 Team Kits is Dec. 12! Please make sure your players have registered by that date.
💵 The 2026 #GameChanger Club fee is $120.
The #GameChanger Club fee, which is paid annually by players and their families, includes:
💵 Change in Processing Fees
This year, your customers will no longer pay a processing fee at checkout. Instead, it is included in the #GameChanger Club fee amount, and 3% will be deducted from your coaching fee payout––similar to other PGA Coach transactions. Therefore, please incorporate this 3% processing fee into your coaching fees.

Congratulations to our Tri-State Section PGA Jr. League 2025 #GameChanger Award Winners, Adam Morrison, Tim Gustin, and Eric Kulinna. The 2025 PGA JL Game Changer Awards will be presented on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026, at 8:45 AM ET, on the Industry Stage at the PGA Show in Orlando.



The Tri-State section is proud to recognize our four PGA Coaches who received the PGA Jr. League 2024 #GameChanger Player Engagement Awards at the PGA Show in Orlando, Florida. They were announced and honored on the Industry Stage on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
The Section is proud and grateful for their ongoing excellence and commitment to junior golf.
