Founded in 1919 and designed by course architects Emil Loefler and John McGlynn, Connoquenessing Country Club's 18 hole golf course is nestled in the rolling hills of Western PA between Zelienople and Ellwood City, just 20 minutes from the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh. Throughout its history, the Club has hosted and continues to host numerous local and national tournaments, including a Hogan Qualifier, numerous Tri-State PGA, WPGA, and PA Golf Association events. The original 9 hole course was expanded to 18 holes in 1990. The result is a balanced par 71golf course playing over 6,400 from the championship tees. The course rating is 70.9 and it has a slope rating of 126. The clubhouse has also evolved over the years but like the course, has remained true to its original design. The Terrace Room, which overlooks the golf course, and the Ballroom can accommodate up to 170 guests and is an ideal setting for both wedding receptions and corporate events.
